Certify This!

My brain is jello!! (Greeeeen Jelloooooo)

We've been given the opportunity to partake in this Dell Certification program to allow us to bypass Dell tech support when we already know what's wrong with a piece of equipment. This is actually very helpful; it will save me a lot of time and I grow very tired of jumping through tech support hoops. Sometimes they realize I know what I'm talking about and don't bother going through the "Have you tried the Dell diagnostics?" crap; other times I spend 20 minutes going "Yes, I tried that" until I get to the end result (and still have to wait as they set up a parts dispatch). I've spent the last two hours taking four tests - they are so ridiculously easy (they provide all the answers in a systems manual) - I'm just needing a little break. I still have two more tests to take before the end of the day..zzzzzzzz

I think I'll head out for a salad.

Salad? I was thinking maybe a beer would be good! Six tests, no matter how easy, is a long day.

I'm with Fred ... two days into a diet of salads for the most part and I am all over the margarita! Or maybe it is just the chips and salsa that I want. In either case, I hope it gets better!

Hey Lora! I'm taking those too! For my Company. Same reason, we don't want to go through Dell Tech Support for something so frickin' easy.

I got my account yesterday and mastered four of the six tests, but the laptop one was kind of a bear. Open book though, so they are so goddamned easy I wonder why they're even offering it.

Doing my last two today.

It just goes to show you how focused she is that she is craving rabbit food instead of beer. I can understand the Jello-fog thing though. Now if only Dell would let certain home computer owners take that test so they can talk to an American technical support person.

Amanda: Yes! errr... wait, doesn't alcohol just make the fog thicker?

Teri: I'm definitely a fan of jello shots. Haven't had any of those since hmmm.. wait.. Amy used to make those, right? Obviously they were good, because I can't recollect.

JJ: Vodka and Jello... Yum.

Jason: You know my pain! I finished the Workstation one this morning. Blah blah blah blah, right? The notebook one was crazy, whoever wrote those test questions was on a mind-altering drug or something. The wording was horrible.

Martin: It is too bad Dell doesn't give the same courtesy to users who know what's going on.

Lora - I finished the sixth one. God, the server one was painful. Oh well. Still the easiest cert program I've ever had!
