Productivity...

Is a beautiful thing! I got so much done today, and I'm feeling great about it. Madison and I are going to spend the rest of the week together, so it felt good to have a day to myself and get projects done. I won't bore you with the details, but I'll leave you with a funny picture of Dallas after his bath this morning. He's really good about taking a bath, but stays seriously pissed for a couple of hours afterward. I think he cleaned himself to get rid of the cooties for at least that long!

Clean and pretty kitty! You are the productive one, aren't you! Enjoy the week with the princess, and enjoy her birthday week!

LMAO-- if looks could kill! The pic makes him look smaller too. I love his eyes.

Yeah. Cats hate getting a bath. I used to give mine baths. However they still have their claws and after getting my arms sliced up, I stopped doing it. But they were pretty much the same way. Pissed for a few hours, and always found a warm spot. Very funny.

You can bathe your cat? Mine wont even let me pet her yet. I am getting frustrated. She has definetly come out of her shell but she still wont come up to us. I want to scratch her fuzzy face!!Any suggestions? It has only been a week and a half.

Cyndi, I've had my two cats for 7 years. I had a roommate the last two years and one cat still wouldn't let him give her love. Both cats are now only Amy provide them love, much to her consternation, but only when I am around. They will come around. I will say, in the new house both cats are substantially more friendly now that before.

LOL!!! At least he doesnt' stratch the heck out of you when you bath him!

I know that wonderful feeling of accomplishment - good for you. Enjoy the rest of your week with no "to do list" looming over your head!

It must have been Vegas Kitty Bath Day because my girls got a wash too! I love right after I bathe them because they smell like Johnson's Baby Shampoo. They are not too pleased since it involves many hours of licking for them, but they don't struggle or try to run from the bath so I don't get impaled with claws.

I've never had a cat I could bath. I've tried, but usually they scratch the heck out of me... I love the feeling of accomplishment that comes with getting a lot of things done!

Sorry I can't get excited about cats, must be something about allergies and sneezing...

Amy: Yeah, he feels soooo soft after a bath! Thanks, we had a great day today!

Nik: Yeah, he looks like a wet rat when I bathe him. Makes me remember he's really not fat under all that hair!

Ken: Thankfully Dallas doesn't try to claw me anymore, he realized resistance is futile!

Cyndi: All in good time. You may have adopted a scaredy cat - do you know where she came from? Perhaps she was somewhere before she had reason to be so scared? I can't remember if you said anything about that in your blog.

Fred, Barbara and Jas: It was a day of fun and finger painting today! It's so nice to get everything done so you can relax. Next year, the vacation will be away from home, nevermind the to-do list!

Amanda: I'm going to have to try the Johnson's next time, we use it for Madison. I've been using cat shampoo - but that sounds great!

Undercover Angel: It does feel so good to get all these projects I never have time to do, done.

Lloyd: I didn't know you were allergic to cats. Dogs too?
