Middle Aged?

Here on the west coast it's still Saturday... but somewhere out there, it's already my birthday, and I'm already 35 years old.

Okay, okay. Cheesy post. It's late and I had a relatively mundane week.

I did travel to Pahrump this week again, and leaving from home I drive through the Red Rock National Conservation area. I need to take a camera with me next time, it's breathtaking in the morning when the sun hasn't been up very long. I also saw a herd of bighorn sheep - which I thought was odd. Realistically, it's a conservation area and bighorn sheep are the state animal, so I shouldn't have been surprised, right? Las Vegas is forever growing, however, and the conservation area is no longer far from civilization. It was a nice surprise.

Tomorrow Madison is going to visit grandparents while we take some time to celebrate. Karl asked me what I wanted to do, and I decided I wanted a Sunday like we had before we became responsible parents. No, not hung over...LOL I'll let you know how it goes. Birthdays are a big deal but I don't like making a big deal. Does that make sense?

Happy Birthday to you! Birthdays are a big deal -- and since you do not like making a big deal, I think you should allow some of your friends to do that for you!

How about this friend take you to lunch one day this week?!

I am next on the 35 block, with you and Teri, it is a group I am proud to be a part of. Happy happy day my friend!

That means you went off to a bar to watch the Cowboys play? B) Happy Birthday, Lora. Damn, another one of those that becomes older than me for a few months until I catch up. Give her hell, Karl.
