I Need an Idea Lightbulb

I need some ideas. Madison has two ladies that primarily take care of her at daycare, and they're both really neat people... I am planning to get them both Christmas gifts, but haven't a clue what to buy. I don't know these ladies too personally at this point, so that doesn't help matters much. Anything that pops in your head, I want to hear it. Keep this in mind: I haven't a crafty bone in my body. :)

Well, when I was in elementary school, my Mom would buy handkerchiefs and coffee mugs as holiday gifts. The handkerchiefs seem kind of hokey to me, but at least you can get something unique.

When I was a kid, my mom would bake home made banna bread, wrap it up, and give it with a coffee mug full of M&M's or Jelly Beans or interesting loose tea and a tea ball. But that was a standard gift for my teachers throught my school years.

I have the same problem with mom helpers. I need to buy them a little something just to let them know I appreciate them coming in and helping out in my room. I was thinking of buying either a candle or bath and body lotion. It isn't too personal, but it is a little more than just a gift card.

I like all these ideas. I love getting candles, but not everyone does. Oh...I just thought of a gift I got once that was different, but I loved it...a pillow. Just a decorative pillow - nothing real expenisve. It came with a note that said something like "enjoy your rest, you deserve it"

I'd get them rubber gloves and air masks... change of seasons, flu and all. Actually, baked goods are ok but sometimes they fall apart when you find out one of them is on Atkins or has food issues. Hmmm... yeah, gift cards.

I always like getting gift cards -- say, to Starbucks or something.
