What's On My iPod

Run DMC - It's Tricky - I'd forgotten that Penn and Teller were in this video. Kickin' it off, old-school style! (Check out the perm on Teller... heh)

Janet Jackson - If - This song is definitely Janet's sexiest, IMO. When I bought this album (okay, CD...), I would have worn it out had it actually been vinyl or cassette, I played this song so much.

Soul Asylum - Misery - This song was in the movie "Clerks II" which I watched this last week. I wish I could remember the point in the movie where I heard it?

Smashing Pumpkins - 1979 - This movie was also in "Clerks II", and I always get excited when their music is part of a movie. I do remember the scene where this was played... but of course I would, since they're like, the best band evah.

Foo Fighters - The Pretender - The video is really just a performance video, but it kicks ass. There's just something about Dave Grohl that does it for me. I looked up the lyrics after I posted this originally... Wow, good song.

Snoop Dogg - Sensual Seduction - Bonus 6th video this week... It's a clean version of the actual song, called "Sexual Eruption". This video is Prince meets Ready for the World meets Earth, Wind and Fire. I've been hearing it all week and promptly downloaded it, it's a good dance beat.

I love "If." Definately my favorite song by her and the video is HOT! I used to know the whole dance too. :)

Just saw Rev Run with Kid Rock in Milwaukee recently. It was a blast to hear It's Tricky live and loud.

You had me for the first three. :)

I was going to ask, "Whatever happened to Soul Asylum?" but I think they recently released an album. I haven't heard any of the songs though. I always liked them.
